This business was all created strictly out of love and passion for videography. In 2018, I (Zane) had had enough of the everyday normal job. I wanted something more and I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted to live my life on my passions and be HAPPY! I wanted to do what I loved to do day in and day out regardless of what anybody thought of it. I started my business journey with my racing business known as ZCompany Racing. In 2018 I raced all across the USA driving different cars at different events, it was truly incredible. Unfortunately I quickly realized how expensive racing would be and I knew that I needed something to offset the cost of it. I knew it would be the perfect time to introduce and create my second passion, videography. Here we are now with ZCompany Media. A brand fully created from passion. Everything that we do here is self taught, we are professionals, but it didn't happen overnight. It took countless hours perfecting the craft to where it is today. As with all professionals, we never stop learning and everyday is new page in our story. We here are doing this because we absolutely LOVE what we do, if we didn't, we would be here. Each project has so much dedication and love put into it. It is something we strive to do. We also encourage people to step out of their comfort zones and attack uncomfortability as it is truly the only way to continue to grow both as a person and in the business world. Don't settle for something because it is easier to obtain. Do the hard work and get to where YOU want to get!
ABOUT ME
Zane Campbell - Owner
I was born in Columbus OH in 1995. Growing up I was always different... I always wanted more then average, never wanted to be in the status quo.. I wanted to stand out from everyone else and be my own definition of successful. I struggled with finding that feeling growing up. With not a lot of money, and obviously having to go to school just as everyone else, I totally felt "normal". I was a pretty much a by the book guy.. I only focused on four important things... God/Family, school, sports, and cars. I graduated HS in 2013 with a 3.6 GPA and two varsity letters in baseball and basketball. I then went to college for a degree in criminal justice at Ohio University. Between playing sports and my first serious relationship, free time was limited. I dedicated all of my time to her and changed my life for the relationship. Out of nowhere, the relationship came to an end after two years. When it all ended I realized everything I had done wasn’t what I wanted. I decided to take life into my own hands. I started working different jobs, anywhere from being a valet to retail. When I landed a job at Dominos as the GM, that was my big break. I learned an immense amount in the two years I spent there. From managing and running a business, to understanding how to run a team, the knowledge was endless. I learned way more in my time with Dominos then any college education that I had received. At that time I enjoyed the long hours and responsibility on my shoulders, however it started taking over my life. I realized that I wasn’t putting my happiness first, and I realized I was becoming like everybody else, working the best parts of my life away. In order to change I started putting myself into a mindset of a business owner rather then that of an employee. I wanted to be my own boss, make my own decisions and work my own hours. I decided to do some research on ownership and entrepreneurship only to find a guy by the name of Gary Vaynerchuk. I read his book "Crushing It" and that is where everything changed, again. I was now thinking as an entrepreneur and not as a worker, I knew I wanted to run my own business and be my own boss. I was only going to do what I LOVED and what made me HAPPY, because that is what matters. I didn't want a business I had to run because of exactly that, "I had to" I wanted a business that was fun for me. I sat down and focused on what I loved and what was important to me, cars/racing, music, personal growth, videography, sports & video games. It was there that I developed my own business known as ZCompany. What is ZCompany you ask? Well ZCompany is ME.. it is my creativeness, it is my passion, it is my hard work, and it is the path that God has intended for me. I want to make a difference in this world by encouraging people to do what they love, and to follow their happiness. Thats where the love of business and the beginning of all of this has started. Since Dominos I wake up happier, more positive and look forward to the daily grind. While ZCompany is young we have made tremendous strides in such a short amount of time. I recently expanded my sole business of ZCompany, to now two separate businesses, ZCompany Racing & ZCompany Media. They say the past truly defines who we are today and I firmly believe that. Without my past I wouldn’t have this amazing business, and I wouldn’t have met Samantha, who has pushed me even farther and has played a huge part into our business and future. I personally guarantee my work, here are not about building a business, here are about building more than that… a brand!
